Volunteering

At Generate we welcome volunteers to help with a number of roles such as:

• Assisting at Pride and other events,
• Supporting peer support groups,
• Helping with outreach,
• Befriending service users,
• Advocacy and support for members,
• Delivering posters and leaflets,

Our volunteers can be service users themselves or other members of the LGBTIQ+ community including family and friends of our members and other allies.

All our volunteers are interviewed by our Support Manager, and subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable training, including safeguarding training.
